Yse Borella is an ophthalmologist doing a PhD in Michel Paques' team in Pais (France) and in collaboration with Rossi lab. Her interests focus on retina and more particularly on the study of the mechanisms underlying the progression of geographic atrophy in age-related macular degeneration. She is doing translational research from high resolution imaging in patients to histology of age-related macular degeneration affected donor eyes. She joined Rossi lab in November 2022 to go into depth in high resolution imaging for the understanding of this disease.
