Rui joined the lab in September 2019 as a visiting scholar from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, China; performing medical research focused on glaucoma. After her time at Rossi Lab (2019-2021) she completed her M.D. degree in China and is currently practicing in Tianjin, China. Rui’s major research interest was the characterization of Glaucomatous retina changes which she hoped to advance imaging techniques to visualize them.
