Julia is currently an exchange student at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a sophomore from Yonsei University in Seoul, majoring in Medicine with a minor in Applied Statistics and Medical AI Convergence. Actively involved in research at a medical AI lab, she has contributed to various advanced AI projects aimed at improving healthcare solutions. Julia has worked on diverse medical imaging tasks using both machine learning and deep learning approaches. Her research interests center on computational medicine and medical imaging with a focus on computer vision, and she is currently working on segmenting AOSLO images using different data preprocessing and deep learning techniques at the Rossi Lab.
